Biography
Rachid ID YASSINE holds a doctorate from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris) and is a lecturer at Gaston Berger University (Senegal). Having taught at Sciences Po Lyon (France, 2017) and the University of Perpignan (France, 2007-2015), he has also been teaching at Saint-Louis University in Brussels (Belgium, since 2015). A graduate in sociology, anthropology and religious studies, Rachid ID YASSINE is a researcher and administrator at the Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers in Africa / Diasporas (LASPAD), where he coordinates the African Observatory of Religion. His current work focuses on the production of knowledge, artificial intelligence, democracy and youth, human security, conflicts and war crimes in Africa. Author of several articles and books, consultant, international expert and member of various scientific associations.
