Beatriz Mesa holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Grenoble (France). She is a lecturer at Gaston Berger University (UGB) in Saint Louis (Senegal). She is a permanent researcher in the research team of the Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers – Africa / Diasporas (LASPAD). As a lecturer at the International University of Rabat (UIR, since 2015), Beatriz Mesa joins the “Conflict Management, Regional Dynamics and Security in Africa: Geopolitics of Tensions, Contemporary Polemology and Peacebuilding” axis at the Center for Global Studies (CGS).
