The Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers in Africa and Diasporas (LASPAD) is pleased to invite you to a seminar on The Evolution of Terrorism: From Revolution to Crime, which will be held on November 25, 2024, starting at 10 a.m.
The seminar will be led by Professor Moda DIENG, Associate Professor in Political Science, lecturer-researcher at Gaston Berger University and Saint-Paul University in Canada and moderated by Ndèye Khady DIOP, doctoral student in Political Science at UGB and research fellow at LASPAD.
This seminar will provide an opportunity to review the history of terrorism since the French Revolution, examining its various manifestations. It will also be an opportunity to examine the concept of “terrorism” and its multiple definitions.
